DEPTH CONTROLDEPTH ACCURACYUsing the above method the absolute determination of depth becomes a fairly accurate affair, and it can be quite easily seen that an accuracy of 1 m in 3000 m or 3 ft in 10,000 ft. should be attainable in good conditions. The accuracy of depth from one log to another should be subject to similar criteria, and it should be quite possible, without active correlation to be within 0.2 m. The accuracy of depth intervals (e.g. bed boundaries and OWC or GWC'S) identified from logs should have similar accuracy.
