CABLE CARE
To help eliminate possible errors:
-
Write down all depths, tension and stretch
measurements.
-
Always have at least two people do the
calculations and make sure they agree.
-
After pulling additional 1000 lbs. and measuring
stretch, slack off and start over at step one again.
-
Check depths, tension and stretch measurements

Watch for any tool movement.

Make sure rig blocks do not move.
-
Make sure wireline sheaves are secure.

Make sure Truck/Skid does not move.
